Research was conducted on management theory and organizational behavior as it relates to organization, management, and administration of distance education training programs. Research was also conducted on situational leadership, its use in practice, and impact it has on pedagogy. Competencies include proficiency in evaluating program designs to determine the vitality.
Attributes of a Distance Education Leader
This assignment challenged me to evaluate the attributes of a distance education leader and the issues of distance education. The paper provides an overview of these attributes and associated issues. I discovered that because of the global multi-cultural educational population, distance education leaders must evaluate their teaching and learning techniques and curriculum to ensure inclusion of all populations.

Case Study: Evaluate Program Design
For this assignment I had the opportunity to evaluate a program design, provide recommendations, and a strategic plan for improvement. I was charged with serving on a hypothetical adhoc committee. The task is to review a program design and vision then determine whether the existing program should continue.
